Puget Sound Energy (PSE) is offering rebates on several types of energy-efficient water heating systems to help customers save money on their energy bills and improve their overall energy efficiency.

The rebates are available for natural gas storage water heaters, natural gas tankless water heaters, and heat pump water heaters. To be eligible, customers must be a current PSE residential natural gas customer and have an existing single family property.

The rebates range from $50 to $800, depending on the type of water heating system and the efficiency rating. For example, customers can receive a $250 rebate when they upgrade to a qualifying energy-efficient natural gas tankless water heater.

In addition to the rebates, PSE also offers an Efficiency Boost program that can provide an additional $200 to eligible customers. To qualify for the Efficiency Boost program, customers must have an income that is at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.

The rebates and the Efficiency Boost program can save customers hundreds of dollars on the cost of a new water heating system. This can help to offset the upfront cost of the system and make it more affordable to switch to a more energy-efficient model.

If you are considering upgrading your water heating system, be sure to check with PSE to see if you are eligible for a rebate. You can find more information about the rebates and the Efficiency Boost program on the PSE website.
